Job Title: Business Development Representative
Lokion is seeking a business development representative to generate sales leads for our growing software development company. Candidates must have outbound sales experience; technology sales strongly preferred.
- Identifying potential accounts regionally.
- Call and email prospects to set in-person meetings.
- Create / maintain potential client contacts in CRM database.
- Work with Sales and Marketing to develop call and email pitches.
- Work with Sales, Project Management, Strategy and Development team to facilitate in-person meetings and necessary follow up such as estimates and proposals.
- Maintain contacts and record sales activities in contact database.
- Work with Sales, Project Management, Strategy and Development to formulate approach and define scope for projects.
- Attend relevant industry and networking events, trade shows and user conferences.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Reports to the Director of Sales and Marketing.
Skills and Qualifications:
- BS or BA.
- A minimum of 3 years of technology sales experience preferred.
- Expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Ability to lead and facilitate internal and client meetings, presentations, etc.
- Ability to write clear, concise, comprehensive communications a must.
- Some travel required.
